What is NFC?
NFC allows compatible phones to open your Legacy Tap profile when the card is held near the phone — no app or typing required.
Does the other person need an app?
No. They just tap and their phone opens your profile in the browser.
How much does Legacy Tap cost?
Legacy Tap Standard is $79 to start, which includes your first year of hosting and support. Legacy Tap Signature, our fully custom option, starts at $199. After your first year, renewal is $24/year for either tier.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. Legacy Tap renews annually, not monthly — Standard starts at $79, Signature starts at $199, then $24/year after your first year.
What happens if I don't renew?
Your digital profile is simply paused. Your card is still yours, and you can bring your profile back any time by renewing.
What's included in the $24 annual renewal?
Your renewal keeps your profile live and includes up to two minor profile updates per year, such as a phone number, link, or small text change. Larger changes, like a full profile redesign, are quoted separately.
What phones work with it?
Most modern iPhones and Android phones support NFC.
Do I pay when I fill out the request form?
No. The form only sends us your request. We contact you to confirm your details, your option and the price, and payment is arranged with us directly before anything is made. See the Legacy Tap terms.
Will my renewal be charged automatically?
No. We reach out before your renewal date, and you only renew if you choose to.
Can businesses order multiple cards?
Yes. Legacy Tap for Teams covers multiple employees with individual profiles and consistent branding, priced with a custom quote for your team.
